EVA’S COOKIES

baking people happy since 2019

a passion for cookies to be shared with the world

Eva started baking chocolate chip cookies every week when she was 10 years old. She frequently shared her homemade cookie cakes with friends at school. Eva loved baking so much that she created Eva’s Cookies in August of 2019 at age 13.

Eva began selling her cookies at The Hockaday School’s bookstore in early 2020. The pandemic started shortly after. Eva kept Eva’s Cookies alive with Cookies for COVID, a project where she used profits from her cookie sales to provide cookies and meals from local catering companies to hospital workers.

In September of 2021, Eva resumed selling cookies at her high school’s bookstore. After she graduated from Hockaday in May of 2024, Emily McLeroy ‘26 took over. Emily bakes Eva’s Cookies for the Hockaday bookstore and fulfills all orders in the Dallas area. Eva manages Eva’s Cookies remotely from Cornell University, where she is studying Hotel Administration.
